Geospatial Corporation Expands Footprint in Houston
Pittsburgh Pennsylvania – August 8, 2016– Geospatial Corporation (OTCIQ Symbol “GSPH”) announces the addition of Todd Porter MSc, MBA to its executive management team and the creation of the Energy Services Division to be located in Houston, Texas. Porter brings 30 plus years of experience and active relationships in the Energy Markets to Geospatial Corporation, while providing exceptional executive leadership, business development and project management skills. Todd is an expert in providing major Oil and Gas companies with solutions in managing their ever evolving underground pipeline and infrastructure risk mitigation strategies and efficient business operations practices.
“Todd will be a huge asset to our strong focus on the Energy Market. I’m excited to have him on our team”, said Mark Smith, Chairman and CEO of Geospatial Corporation. Mark added, “Frankly, with the passage of the Pipe Act, the timing could not be better to have someone like Todd on board to lead our Energy Team.
“I am excited to join Mark and the rest of the Geospatial Team,” declared Todd Porter. “The way Geospatial is attacking the market is spot on. It is like a perfect storm for mapping and managing underground infrastructure data with technology and know-how leading the way. Aging infrastructure, new and pending regulations, highly accurate location data collection and cloud-based software with mobile applications make the Energy sector a target rich environment for Geospatial’s solutions. Now everyone in the organization can utilize near real-time data from the field in combination with legacy data to support on-going Integrity Programs. Geospatial makes it SIMPLE by combining technology, capabilities and process to provide owners of underground infrastructure the tools they need to support ongoing infrastructure improvements, keeping them in step with regulations. I am excited to help launch our Google for Work Technology Partnership and provide the Energy Markets the software and technologies to manage our critical underground infrastructure.”
