The FWEA Asset Management Committee held its first meeting at the Florida Water Resources Conference in Orlando, Florida. The meeting was attended by twenty people representing municipal utilities, consultants, and vendors/service companies. Five subcommittees were established to gather and review information and disseminate pertinent information regarding the Asset Management Program, including:

• Information Systems: GIS, CMMS and Integration Systems
• Infrastructure Renewal and Replacement
• Data Collection
• Condition Assessment
• Stakeholder Education
